Important instructions for Yoga


The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj meaning to bind, join attach and yoke, to direct and concentrate one’s attention on, to use and apply. It also means union or communion. It is the true union of our will the will of God’s. The yoking of all the power of body, mind and soul to God .It means the disciplining of the intellect, the mind, the emotions, the will, which that yoga presupposes

1.  The best timing to yoga is early morning. The rising rays of sun is more beneficial for our health.

2.     After six hours of food, and  two hours of drinking milk or stomach empty, then do yoga otherwise it is dangerous for health.

3.     Taking a warm blanket ,mat, for doing yoga on the open ground.

4.    The qualities demanded form an aspirant are discipline, faith, tenacity, and perseverance to practice regularly without interruptions.

5.     Do not practice yoga after being out in the hot sun for several hours.

6.      Do not take air from mouth only take from the nose.

8.     Drinking a little fresh water after the asana is beneficial.
